When your product sells, Barkmall collects the amount paid by the buyer (including the price and any shipping, gift wrap, or other charges).

Sellers who are subscribed to the Individual selling plan pay a per-item sold fee for each item sold in the Barkmall store, in addition to any other applicable fees.

Units sold: The number of units you have sold for a given order.

The per-item selling fee will apply to all sellers with an Individual selling plan. The rate is HKD $7.50 per unit sold.

If a seller subscribed to an Individual selling plan sells two items in their inventory, they will be charged a one-time fee of HKD $7.50 per item, totalling $15.00 in per-item fees.

Sellers pay a referral fee on each item sold.

For all products, Barkmall deducts the applicable referral fee percentage calculated on the total sales price, excluding any taxes calculated through Barkmall tax calculation services. The total sales price is the total amount paid by the buyer, including the item price and any delivery or gift wrapping charges.

We charge a monthly high-volume listing fee of HKD $0.008 per eligible SKU to cover our system costs associated with cataloguing and maintaining large numbers of SKUs on Barkmall.com.

To help you grow the selection of products you offer on Barkmall, we waive the high-volume listing fee for the first 100,000 SKUs. All SKUs across all product categories, irrespective of creation date or sales history, will be counted towards the fee. We apply a listing fee of HKD $0.008 for each SKU per month on the SKUs in excess of the initial 100,000 SKUs. We apply the fee to your highest number of eligible SKUs from the fifth day through the thirty-first day of the month.

For example, if you offer 150,000 SKUs in December 2021, we will charge you a fee of HKD $400 for the month of December, calculated as $0.008 on the 50,000 SKUs that were above your free allowance of 100,000 SKUs. You can view the number of eligible SKUs by going to the Inventory tab in Seller Central. The fee will be calculated and charged monthly, and will be displayed in the next month's statement.

You can view a list of your current SKUs that satisfy the criteria for the fee by going to the Inventory tab in Seller Central, selecting Inventory Reports, and then selecting High Volume Listings Report from the drop-down menu on the page.

If you refund a customer for an order for which you have already received payment, Barkmall will refund you the amount of the referral fee you paid for the item(s), minus the applicable refund administration fee, which is the lesser of HKD $50.00 or 20% of the applicable referral fee.

For example, if you refund a customer the HKD $100.00 total sales price of an item with a 21% referral fee, your refund administration fee will be HKD$4.20 [20% x (HKD $100.00 x 21% referral fee = HKD $21.00)].

In order to ensure the quality of Products offered for sale by Sellers on Barkmall, and that the Products conform to related regulations and the Barkmall Services Business Solution Agreement and Barkmall’s written guidelines, we have implemented a Penalty Charge Scheme. Sellers are liable to a payment of the penalty where (i) Barkmall receives any written enquiry, request for information, notice, warning letter, notice of legal action or penalty in respect of any breach or suspected breach of any applicable law or regulation of the Product from any tribunal, court or regulatory authority, and/ or (ii) there is any breach or suspected breach, in Barkmall’s sole opinion, in relation to the Seller’s Product of any applicable law, regulation, the Barkmall Services Business Solution Agreement or Barkmall’s written guidelines.

Seller shall be liable to pay the price of any Products to be refunded for Customers Orders within six (6) months prior to the date of the above mentioned cases at Barkmall’s sole discretion, and agrees that the commission shall be retained by Barkmall and the relevant Product SKUs shall immediately be taken offline at Barkmall’s sole discretion. Barkmall reserves its right to terminate the Seller Agreement and/or to claim Seller for any damages, loss or expenses incurred on an indemnity basis, under the Barkmall Services Business Solution Agreement.
